Nordiqus (www.nordiqus.com) is looking for a Paralegal to join their new organization. The role involves responsibility and overall accountability for corporate documentation, governance documents, compliance process and material together with supporting the management.

The position reports to the CFO and you will be based at Hötorgshusen in the center of Stockholm. Hybrid work is possible.

Main responsibilites

  • Paralegal duties, responsibility for parts of board administration. Ensuring that information, follow-up, and administration are handled professionally regarding content and deadlines.
  • Securing and coordination of legal expertise when needed
  • Administration of corporate documents
  • Supporting with documentation of legal documents, distribution of signed documents
  • Involved in the KYC process towards financial counterparties and ongoing due diligence of customers, suppliers and agents.
  • Ensuring that the Nordiqus companies comply with relevant laws and regulations, including data protection, anti-money laundering, anti-corruption and financial regulations.
  • Lead and carry out risk analyses and risk assessments, as well as participate in investigations and reporting of any regulatory violations.
  • Specifying internal governance policies, improving and developing processes and regularly monitor compliance.
  • Holding internal training for the organization in both legal and compliance, as well as continuously follow legal developments in relevant areas for the Group.

Experience

  • At least three years of experience from a law firm, court, state authority or working as a paralegal, legal counsel or assistant.
  • Experience from compliance, drafting contracts or insurance issues.
  • Experience from the real estate industry, advisory or corporate finance is beneficial is a plus.
  • Good organizational skills, mastering MS Office package, IT systems etc
  • Has unhindered ability to express themselves both verbally and in writing, in both Swedish and English.
