Nordic Real Estate Investment Analyst to H.I.G Realty Partners

By joining the investment team at H.I.G. Realty, you will have a unique opportunity to team up with experienced professionals in an international environment and learn about Real Estate investments in a firm founded in 1993 and having been a market leader in global alternative assets investments.

The role
The position is based in London and will focus predominately on the Nordic real estate market, working in the investment team. H.I.G. that makes opportunistic value-add equity investments in mid-size real estate opportunities. It employs a hands-on, operationally intensive approach to rehabilitate, redevelop, reposition and rebrand assets, invests in operational real estate and offer credit solutions to owners of real estate.

For the role, H.I.G. is looking for a person with strong analytical skills, a genuine interest in the Nordic real estate market and who understands the real estate investment value chain.

Key responsibilities and tasks

• Assist in due diligence, structuring, financing, negotiation and execution of transactions.
• Support asset management activities and to take responsibility for specific projects.
• Responsible for modelling, preparing documentation and collecting data in sale process.
• Collecting market data and carrying out market research
• Exposure to H.I.G.’s internal real estate capital formation team

Qualifications and suitable background

• 1-3 years relevant experience in real estate (private and/or public), private equity, consulting or similar fields.
• Have excellent skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in one of the Nordic languages, (Swedish, Danish etc) and have excellent spoken and written English skills.
• Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
